About Designer Mariecor
Mariecor Agravante’s first art exhibits were during her elementary school years, even before she entered the Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) Program of her formative years and the International Baccalaureate (IB) program of her secondary school years. She earned her Gonzaga University (Spokane, Washington) Bachelor of Science (BSci) degree in Biology, through the GU Honors Program, where the experience opened her to many naturalist and botanical art techniques in illustration. Next, her National University (San Diego County, California) Master of Science (MSci) degree in Organizational Leadership further enhanced her knowledge of the museums sector. Then, completing her University of the Cumberlands (Williamsburg, Kentucky) Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Leadership — with Concentration in Business and in History — helped Mariecor Agravante expand on her love of art history and her affinity for the antiques realm — topics that she covers in many of her writings to date.
